Creativity is key to any definition of effective learning and teaching in the twenty first century. Put simply, pupils need to connect with their curriculum on an emotional level and be able to create outcomes that they are proud of, that they are passionate about, and that are meaningful for THEM.

I like this as furniture for a common area... Not only does it look nice, it has multiple different arrangements and, thus, functions.

Freedom as an instrument of oppression An interesting Comment piece by George Monbiot from The Guardian, 20 Dec 11. What is Freedom and what limits should we impose on it? would be a very interesting conversation to have with children... Maybe a new way to look at life on the playground... (?)
